What are the Marmas?

These are sensitive energy points located on invisible energy channels connected to the chakras (energy centres).
Close to Chinese medicine and its acupuncture points, Ayurvedic medicine is much older.

The Ayurvedic Marma massage is composed of pressure and stimulation of marma points all over the body and a gentle and deep massage with oil.

In Ayurvedic medicine, everything is made up of the 5 elements - ether, air, fire, water and earth. The combinations of these 5 elements create the 3 doshas. The dosha is the dominant of a combination of these elements.

Did you say Doshas?

These 3 Doshas are the keystone of Ayurvedic medicine, they are the three principles inherent in life, present in everything that constitutes the universe: movement, transformation, preservation.
Each of us has one or more dominant doshas and the imbalances that we may have in our lives or in our bodies correspond to an imbalance in these doshas.

Purpose of massage?

Re-balance the specific dosha constitution for each person. In other words, helping you to regain your balance by a full massage of the marma points.

It is interesting to discover your dosha profile. This allows us to understand the origin of our imbalances. To do so, you can answer this questionnaire.
